Center Stage One

It was done in a half hour, it looks shoddy, it's colored poorly, it's unoriginal, but by golly it's done! And on time no less.

I wanted to submitt this to scraps, but apparently you can't submitt scraps to groups?

Challenge:
"As a designer you are approached by a broadway director who is searching for a new, fresh look for his new upcoming broadway musical!
Sadly the story is very well known and has been used over and over and over already in all kinds of mediums!
We all know it and most of us loved it as children: Cinderella!
Your job is to create something new and exciting for the big stage. The director is open to any ideas. You can go classic, choose a certain time period, fantasy, futuristic.But please keep in mind that these costumes are for the stage, so they have to make an impact! Your imagination is the limit!
Present your designs on two characters: your first will be, of course Cinderella herself. Don't forget to draw her glass slipper! (this can be as insane as you would like as well..be creative! )
For the second design you can choose from: The fairy Godmother, The evil stepmother or Prince Charming

But wait!... This would be waaayy too easy!

To make things a little more interesting and to give you a chance to explore other styles and try out something new, I decided that you have to choose one design from a fellow contestants gallery to be your inspiration. This will concern color and the overall styling.. you can play around with it and change it, but I have to recognize it in an element."

So I used the short of off shoulder and high colored, plus the form fitting around the hips/waist. I wanted to do this by way of some 1930's glamour gowns. It sort of ended vaguely like this.

Anyway, I'm really sorry for the bad sketches. I am impossibly busy this month.
